Our innovative “concap” concrete slab system received official approval for type testing from the German Institute for Building Technology (DIBt) last week!
Now it’s possible to integrate the 24 different types of concap into any construction project without further testing of the individual elements. This simplifies the work processes on the construction site enormously, so that the use of concap enables the project to be constructed quickly and efficiently.
The precast concrete element is only 6 cm thick and combines maximum precision with exposed concrete quality. Simple connection details allow for easy on-site installation of concap’s components, resulting in shorter construction times.

This summer, sbp together with thomas gruppe presented the new product to the public. concap is the world’s first concrete vaulted slab system to be mass produced, it reinterprets the historic slab system known as Kappendecke for contemporary building design.
