Lighting Designer

The impact of our structures at night, particularly their lighting, is an essential aspect of our work. Lighting serves to provide recognition, orientation, staging, and integration into the overall context. This is why we place great emphasis on lighting design from the very beginning of each project.

For our Stuttgart office, we are looking for a committed Lighting Designer who will passionately and proactively drive forward the lighting design of our national and international engineering structures.

 

Your Responsibilities

In this position, you will independently handle lighting design projects and take on budget responsibility. You will develop and create lighting concepts, conduct lighting calculations, and analyze the results. Additionally, you will create CAD plans and 3D models, coordinate the electrical design and control systems, and comprehensively document the lighting installations. Your tasks will range from concept development to on-site supervision.

 

Your Profile
  • A degree in lighting design, lighting technology, architecture, electrical engineering, civil engineering or a comparable qualification
  • Ideally, relevant experience in the lighting design industry
  • Good knowledge at the interface with electrical engineering and lighting control is an advantage
  • Proficiency in calculation and simulation programs as well as their analysis
  • Ability to create hand sketches and experience with Photoshop and a common 3D software
  • Experience in the later stages of HOAI (detailed design, tendering, construction site experience) is an advantage
  • Enthusiasm for the field of engineering and lighting design
  • Structured and independent working style and ability to work in a team
